If you allow us to access your phonebook on your mobile device, we also collect information contained in messages you send through our platform and your contacts.

We collect technical information about you. When you use the platform, we will automatically collect some of your information, including your IP address, location related data (as described below) or other unique device identifier, your browsing history (including what you view on the platform), cookies (as defined below), your mobile operator, time zone settings, mobile or device information, including device model and screen Screen resolution, operating system and platform, and information about your platform.

Your phone and iYeah contacts. You can choose whether to find other users of the platform through (I) your phone contacts or (II) iYeah contacts. If you choose to find other users through your mobile phone contacts, we will access and collect your phone contacts, including name, phone number, address, and any other information about the contacts that you have stored in your phone, so that we can determine whether they are using the platform by matching them with current users of the platform. If you want to find other users through your iYeah contact, we will collect your public iYeah information as well as the name and profile of your iYeah contact.
Leaving a message. We collect and process (including scanning and analyzing) the information you provide, including any personal information, including writing, sending, or receiving information (i.e., content and information about when to send, receive and / or read information and communication participants) the messaging capabilities of our services. Please note that messages sent to other users of our service will be accessed by other users, and we are not responsible for the way these users use or disclose information.
Metadata. When you upload a video to the platform ("user content"), some metadata connected to user content is automatically uploaded. In essence, metadata describes other data and provides information about user content that is not always obvious to the viewer. Relevant to your video, metadata can describe how, when, and who collects user content and how to format it. It also includes information such as your account name to enable other users to trace videos to your user account. The metadata also includes additional data that you choose to provide with the video, such as any hash tags used to tag video or comment keywords.
Buy coins. You may choose to purchase the coin pack through in app purchase. You can use these coins to buy virtual gifts and send them to other users live or on the channel. When you choose to buy coins, you will be transferred to the app store on your mobile device to complete the purchase. We will collect your personal information about this purchase. In addition, if you use your Apple iTunes or Google play account to purchase any gift points in accordance with the gift point policy, we will process payment confirmation and credit it to your account.

You control your Profile and you can access and modify your Profile from the Opu application at any time. In addition, if you register with Opu using your Facebook account (e.g. Facebook Connect), we may store your Facebook ID and corresponding token on our servers and, if you give us your express consent, we will have access to and may collect certain information that you make available on Facebook (for example, your first and last names, email address, profile picture, your friend lists and birthdays). Your Profile is available to other users of the Service Opu are connected to you on Opu. In addition, unless you opt-out (which you may do at any time in the Opu application), your Profile is discoverable by other Opu users, including by way of example in listings of contacts that will include your proximity to other users. You may also “block out” any Opu user in your contact list from discovering your Profile at any time. In addition, Opu may pre-populate your Profile with certain information such as your name and Facebook profile picture if you or your friends have logged onto the Service using Facebook.
You can always control what information you choose to share with us on the Service. To do so, you can change your settings in the Service or in your mobile device. Alternatively, you can remove the Service from your mobile device entirely.
You can remove your data anytime you want. If you ask us to delete your account, we will use commercially reasonable efforts to remove your data from our servers.
Any personally identifiable information that (i) you share in text messages, photos, videos or otherwise in or through the Opu application with other users, or (ii) submit on a blog, bulletin board or chat room on our website or elsewhere, can be viewed and used by others, including to send you unsolicited messages or to commit identity theft. Opu is not responsible for any use or misuse of your information that might result from your disclosure of information.
In certain instances, Synapse Team and Opu may have contracts with third parties to provide products and/or services in connection with the Service. In those cases, Opu may share your personal information with Opu’s third-party service providers, but only in connection with providing the services to you. For example, Opu shares your phone number or email with third party SMS and email providers to deliver the authentication SMS or email to you when you register with Opu. We contractually require that these third parties use your information solely to deliver SMS or email to you and to use appropriate security measures to protect your information. In addition, certain Opu servers are owned and hosted by third party service providers. This Privacy Policy does not apply to the practices of third party service providers.
If you accessed a website, product or service provided by a third party, including through the Service or a Opu website, such third party may also collect information about you. Please see the privacy policies of each such third party for more information about how they use the information they collect. This Privacy Policy does not apply to any exchange of information between you and any third party.
Opu allows you to choose not to receive promotional email messages from Opu and its service providers. You may opt-out by following instructions in the message sent by Opu or its service providers on how to unsubscribe from that particular mailing. Protecting user privacy and personal information is a top priority for Synapse Team and Opu. We make substantial efforts to ensure the privacy of all personally identifiable information you provide to us. Access to all personally identifiable information is restricted to those Synapse Team and Opu employees, contractors, agents and third-party service providers Opu need to know that information in order to provide, operate, develop, maintain, support or improve the Service. Synapse Team and Opu uses password protection, access logs, and system monitoring to safeguard the confidentiality and security of all member information.
In addition, due to the inherent nature of the Internet and related technology, we do not guarantee the protection of information under our control against loss, misuse or alteration.
Your information may be stored and processed in any country in which Synapse Team and Opu maintains facilities. The Service is not directed to children under the age of eighteen (18) and we do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under the age of eighteen as part of the Service. If we become aware that we have inadvertently received personally identifiable information from a user under the age of eighteen as part of the Service, we will delete such information from our records.
